Brodie Goes to Mathews!

Brodie Goes to
Mathews
Mountain Archery's Brodie Berry was invited to Mathews Headquarters to learn the way of Mathews — straight from the people who design and build them.
Every once in a while, the people behind the brands we love invite us to step inside the room where the work happens. For Mountain Archery, that invitation came from Mathews Archery — and we sent Brodie Berry to take it.
This wasn't a sales trip or a trade show. It was an invitation to spend real time at Mathews Headquarters, walking the same floor where every cam, every limb, and every riser is engineered, machined, and tested before it ever finds its way into a hunter's hands.
Why This Matters
When you sell precision equipment, surface-level knowledge isn't enough. The bow you put in someone's hands is going to be drawn back ten thousand times — in a parking-lot tune-up, in a Wyoming snowstorm, on the morning of a once-in-a-lifetime hunt. The shop selling that bow needs to understand it the way the engineers who built it do.
That's exactly what this trip was about. Brodie spent the visit absorbing technical specs, fitting protocols, tuning philosophy, and the design choices behind Mathews' newest platforms. The kind of knowledge that doesn't come from a product sheet.
What Brodie Brought Back
The biggest takeaway isn't a single product or a single insight — it's a closer working relationship between Mountain Archery and one of the most respected names in the industry. When you walk into our shop now and ask about a Mathews bow, you're getting answers from someone who has stood in the room where they're built.
That changes the conversation. It changes the fitting. And ultimately, it changes the bow you walk out with.
