What is the difference between the Victory VAP and the Victory RIP?

The VAP (Victory Archery Project) is Victory's flagship micro-diameter hunting shaft — a fast, accurate, and versatile arrow that works well across a broad range of hunting situations. The RIP is designed specifically around maximum penetration — heavier finished weight, a stiffer construction, and the TKO outsert system that pushes more mass forward for deeper penetration on big game. Most hunters who shoot both describe the RIP as the arrow they reach for on elk and larger game, and the VAP as the all-around choice for deer and mixed-species hunting.

What does TKO mean on Victory arrows?

TKO stands for Total Kinetic Optimization. It refers to Victory's stainless steel outsert system that mounts to the outside of the arrow shaft at the front end, relocating mass forward to increase front-of-center (FOC) percentage. Higher FOC improves broadhead flight stability and increases penetration depth on impact. The TKO system is available on both the VAP TKO and RIP TKO lines.

What is the difference between Elite and Gamer grade Victory arrows?

Elite-grade Victory arrows are built to Victory's tightest straightness and spine tolerances — designed for hunting and serious target shooting where consistency matters. Gamer-grade arrows are built to a more accessible specification and price point, making them ideal for 3D practice, backyard shooting, and hunters who want to put a lot of arrows downrange without burning through premium shafts. Most hunters shoot Gamer-grade for practice and Elite-grade for hunting season.

How do I choose the right Victory arrow spine?

Victory publishes a spine selection chart based on draw weight, draw length, and arrow length. As a starting point it's reliable, but the right spine for your specific setup also depends on your bow's tune, point weight, and rest type. Most Victory arrow orders placed before 2 PM Mountain Time ship the same business day. Orders placed after 2 PM ship the next business day.
